Planting a Church in the Sunshine State

Our desire to plant a church is motivated by one thing, and one thing alone: Jesus Christ.  Jesus’ final words before ascending into heaven tell us not to keep this good news to ourselves but to "go and make disciples of all nation."  This Great Commission is at the very heart of our desire to plant a church in America's fourth most populous state -- to reach out  and win as much soul for Christ as possible.

Over the last 2000 years, church planting has been the most effective method in accomplishing the Great Commission and we will follow this pattern by launching Trinity New Life Church in late 2009. While our team is coming together,  God is preparing a group of workers who will be ready to work a plentiful harvest in the Tampa area.

Why Tampa?

The Tampa Bay area is the largest region in Florida and the fourth largest in the southeastern United States with nearly four million residents. The people are waiting to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and we intend to bring it to them.

Our plan is to start our first congregation in a suburb of the area but our long-term goal is to make disciples all over the Tampa Bay area by planting a church-planting church. We beileve this will be the most strategic way to reach everyone with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

At Trinity New Life Church, we exist to see people love Jesus, love people and serve the city.

Our passion is to see everyone in the Tampa Bay area come into a transforming relationship with Christ and to live it out and demonstrate the love of Jesus to the people around us and in the whole city.

So while our faith will always be personal, it will never be private. We will share the love of Jesus to the Tampa Bay area in words and in action, and we invite you to join us however God would lead you.
