Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. It is the seat of government and is a creative hub. Much of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings was shot in and around Wellington. The spiritual culture is typical of much of the Western mindset in that it is a post-Christian, post-modern environment. 

Shi’a is the state religion and is practiced by the majority of Iran’s over 71 million people. The government restricts freedom of religion. In recent weeks there has been a wave of arrests against Christians in Iran. Christian leaders were abducted and tortured even without cause. 

China is one of the biggest countries in the world and is the most populated with over 1.3 billion people. It is a communist state and the predominant religion is Buddhism.
